I checked our Walgreen’s thermometer two way:

A. Held really hot coffee in my mouth for about 30 seconds, then popped the thermometer into my mouth. It registered 104 quickly so that phase of research was concluded. It typically shows me a 97-98 range when used normally.
2. Then I checked it against our meat thermometer both in a glass of very warm tap water. Both registered the same.
